*Achuzu is 20-years-old and an avid reader/writer of poetry. They enjoy the magic that poetry places in their mind. *Achuzu also has a soft spot for animals, music, the color purple, and gardening. Romantic poetry is their favorite style to write, but they also dabble in the horror category. They also like to make desktop wallpapers and Photoshop brushes, among other pieces of random artwork. ~aillesdors is a nineteen-year-old poet whose greatest ambition in life is to become an English professor. A poet from age three, her love of language and literature has only increased with time. She strives to write varied, intelligent poetry and often experiments with many different styles and genres of poetry. Apart from being a poet, she is also a rather experienced critic, and loves to write thoughtful (and hopefully helpful) reveiws of other people's poetry. A member of dA since March 2008, she joined with the sincere hope of getting better at her craft, so critique from others is vitally important! ~ainekatt is a fourteen-year-old girl residing in the wet and wonderful world of Oregon, although she'd much rather be off exploring Europe or another world. She enjoys all kinds of art and frequently dabbles in almost every kind, from drawing and painting to music and literature, with a little bit of the culinary arts and textile arts thrown in. Her passion, however, has always been for words and language, having spent many days as a child wandering around seemingly aimlessly telling stories to herself for hours upon end. ~Alleyana is 16-years-old and has been writing poetry since the tender age of five. She has been published, but never started to take writing seriously until the summer of 2008, when she opened a dA account. She hopes to become an English teacher in her future and wants to spread the joy the poetry has given her to others. ~AlterEgo1629 is 16-years-young and started writing poetry in 10th grade when assigned a project. Once her project was finished she kept on writing and hasn't stopped since. She loves to learn about all the different styles of poetry, but is too timid to actually try them. A master at self-criticism, she likes seeing what she can make better and hearing from others what she can do better. Some of her works are: Dark, Tonight Ends, and Fire.

`Anavah was an award winning journalist for a national newspaper chain and worked in the legal profession and corporate world for over 30 years. She has been creating in words, paint and collage all of her life. She loves to read, has lived and traveled all over the world, was a missionary participating in the restructuring of third-world countries, and studied various religions extensively before settling in Charlotte, NC. Her works include: The Great Divide, The Ecstasy of Gold and Bean-shìdh.

*AngelofGod87 is a twenty-one-year-old college student majoring in Special Education and ESL. A self-taught poet and artist, she has been writing since age ten, and as yet has never been published. Her poetry is mostly based on experiences she's lived through or "spur of the moment" poems. Her immediate goals are to finish her B.A and move to the States to work on her Masters and to improve her writing skills. She joined deviantART in Feb. 1, 2007 and plans on immersing herself more into the Lit community.

*Aruchel is in his early 20's and has a science degree specializing in hydrochemistry and botanical ecology. He prefers to write in fixed verse, but also thinks that no artist should limit themselves to one medium or style. `ATrue, a twenty-something student and mother of two, has been the owner of PoetryPlease since 2006 and a member of DeviantArt since 2005. She's always wanted to be a writer, but didn't start to take it seriously until after she was introduced to dA (she joined as PunknEra) where she spent more time reading and developing her craft. She started by focussing on poetry, but has now developed a porfolio of literature that includes poetry, short fiction, nonfiction, and the beginnings of a novel. `ATrue is not yet published, but is working towards publication. ~babyhippy123 is a young mother from the north, but she is currently living in the Midlands. She first started writing at around seven-years-old when she had a poem published in the local newspaper. Her writing has gone from strength to strength, her ability growing after she took a creative writing course at Northampton University. Being a full time mother, she often finds it difficult to find time to write anything, but she often grabs the odd moment.

=BobSmith006 is a teenager who first started writing poetry in 2006 for assignments in his English class. However, he soon began taking great interest in poetry and has been trying to improve since. He prefers rhyming quatrains, although lately he has been looking a lot into all of the various forms of poetry. Some of his favorite poems from his poetry style tryout are Goodman Winter, Childhood Memory, and Date with Death.

~ByMeBeHappy is a girl who just finished high school and takes pleasure in making things with her own hands, especially drawings and sculptures. When first assigned to write poetry at the age of ten, she hated it. Now finding it rather fun, she aims at improving her writing skills, however, becoming a writer is not among her goals. She writes mainly about run-of-the-mill happenings of her daily life.

=CaronCecilia is a mother of four, grandmother of six, and has been a deviant since December '08. While she writes any genre, poetry seems to be her passion. She enjoys writing free form poetry, haiku and also collaborating with other writers. She is the owner of *DailyLitDeviations, which showcases literary art. =Carousel-Dreams is a teenager with a love of literature, especially poetry, music, drama, visual arts and philosophy. Her favourite colour is green and her music taste is as varied as her moods. She loves reading in addition to writing and her style is often described as sensual, sweetly awkward, unique and very varied as she has been exploring many styles. ~Chikami-chan is a teenager who write poetry as a release. She has been writing since she was in the 6th grade, or maybe a little before, but all of her work on dA is from her highschool years. ~Chikami-chan is always willing to experiment in poetic format, whether it be in song, in a particular shape to asthetically please, or in mathmatical equations. She also submits other forms of art, from comic strips, to portaits, to culinary art photographs. Poetry is not a major career path for her, which lies in math, but she hopes to maybe publish a collection of her poems one day. ~connorish is in fact a guy who studies medicine. Moreover he likes to write poetry and erotic stories. Most of the time, he actually writes down personal experiences in his poems to get along with his own feelings. His poems mostly come out sad and make you think about what you just read. Three of his favourite pieces are: The key to heaven, The smile, and Mothers.

=CrimsonThrenody, a quiet woman in her twenties, has been a member of DeviantArt since the end of 2007. Writing has always been one of her driving passions, but picked it up seriously in her middle school years. Beginning much of her serious works with attempted novels, she moved towards poetry to expand her knowledge. Yet, poetry never took a strong hold and she returned to her novels and short works of prose, stretching to as many genre's as she dared. Unpublished as of yet, it is a true aspiration of hers and she is working hard to achieve such status. She hopes to eventually become an Editor/Publisher, but knows it is some time away. ~Darkstarplague is a teenage girl, who finds escape in writing poetry. She hopes to have some of her work published and maybe put into a book of her own. Most of her relatives don't take too kindly to it but she doesn't care. She likes the colors red and black and always listens to music. Also she does photography and some occasional drawings. Usually she writes about personal issues but it's not always known to others. Some of her works include I'll be sober until night, Cuts, and The truth about you.

Contrary to popular belief, `Drunken-Splice is neither an alcoholic or even drunken for that matter. At least not on Tuesdays. Instead he soberly spends his time reading the lonely hearts columns and correcting the list of prospective mates' grammar. He is a Creative Writing and French major at the University of Arizona, plays too much Guitar Hero and loves to hang out in dAmn all day and talk about his favorite Chardonnay. *E-Shark47 is a young adult poet who wishes to learn as much as he can about poetry. He has been writing in general since he was 12 years old and just started writing poetry seriously since September 2008. He joined dA on March 5, 2009 after hearing about it on YouTube. He enjoys poetry, photography, music, and anime. He writes mostly spoken word poetry, as he was inspired to do so after watching an episode of Brave New Voice on HBO. He likes cartoons, guitars, and resource books and internet pages. He hopes to go to college and get his bachelor of science in chemical engineering. ~Espatross is a college student studying mathematics. However, they don't stop him from enjoying the more liberal arts of reading and writing. He loves to write about the nature of people, though he finds it dull to speak on individuals. His works have a tendency to be more abstract when read literally; however there is commonly an agenda behind it. He also has a particular fascination with how punctuation and structure can enhance the meaning of poetry. His free time is spent writing, thinking, talking, and participating in kinesthetic manipulation, i.e. Toss Juggling, Contact Juggling, and Martial Arts. ~Faust-XVIII is a writer in his mid-teens. He's been writing since he could hold a pen and form coherent words (perhaps a little while before that). He wants to improve his work and sometime in the future get it published, so the world can read and enjoy it. He writes mostly macabre and dramatic poetry but often plays around with other styles. Some pieces that best represent his writing are Shut up and die, Conquest of Paradise and Back to the Fetus.

~Gilded-Cxnt is a poet in her teens and has loved writing since she can remember. She's been on DA since '05 and her style has changed numerous times, each leading her to delete the poems of a previous phase. She used to follow very strict structures and try many different types of poem styles, but has found a new love for simplicity and words themselves. Being incredibly emotional, her poems express what cannot always be said or the desperation that cannot always be shown. Some of her recent poems are: Cinnamon Skin, Dysmorphic Feature, and Sadism.

~hawaiianhulagirl is a thirteen-year-old girl who started writing poetry when she was about twelve. She didn't get serious with poetry until the fall of 2008. She usually writes free verse or rhyming and sometimes does haiku. She loves suggestions on how to improve her poetry and loves giving comments to others. She strives to write to the best possible, wanting the best quality. She also is a photographer and will occasionally upload pictures. She wants to major in English and dreams to be either a poet, photographer, or better yet, both. Some of her favorite poems are Dreamworld, Love, and backward going straight.

~imjustme213, a thriteen-year-old girl with two younger siblings, has been writing poetry and prose since she was eleven. She became serious with her work when she hit age twelve. She has joined several clubs on DA and hopes to be able to develop her craft as well as someday publish a book of her work. She writes several genres of literature, but most of her poetry can be described as angst. She started off writing poems about herself, but has found that she likes writing from different points of view and fictional situations. ~isabellakay began writing poetry eight years ago and creative non-fiction one year ago. She wants to strengthen her writing in both of these genres - constructive criticism is always welcome. She occasionally posts photographs and prose and is also becoming increasingly interested in Spoken Word and Visual Poetry. Attending college keeps her from being as consistently active on DA as she would like to be. She is a member of a handful of groups (all writing related) on DA, but Poetry Please is the group in which she is the most involved. ~IStoleTheDolphins has been writing since she was five years old. In recent years she has been experimenting with genres outside poetry (essays and short stories); her strengths are in analytical writing. Her fiction needs more than work; it needs a team of surgeons. She doesn't like talking about herself in third person but does so when requested. The closest to being published she has ever come was in her school's literary magazine during her freshman year of high school. She's been on dA for two years, a year and a half on the now-dead account ~Mackenzie001, and about half a year on ~IStoleTheDolphins. In addition to writing, she draws, is attempting to paint, play the piano (mediocre), and enjoys photography. From her own gallery she is most content with Theoretical Moments, You Wear The MOrning, and Downside-Up.

~krish-x is a teenage girl living in England, who loves both reading and writing poetry. Her favorite type to write is horror and romance and her dream is to one day publish a poetry book. Here are some of her pieces: Gold Dust Eyes, Fairydust, and Never Enough.

~Kuatsimoto is a thoughtful poet in his teens. He currently lives in south Texas, but was originally from Mexico. Writing helps him express himself to the world, and he charishes that. Most of his poetry expresses him through his own philosophical way or through nature.

~LuciaDeMure sparkles like a squashed star and is as cheery as peppermint swirls. At 18, she has been writing since the age of 5 and lives in England, the land of Sherbert Fountains and Mini Coopers. Her writing mainly focusses on sombre poetry that speaks of untold emotion and experiences within her mind that she'd rather not have had. She prefers to say that she doesn't write poetry--she paints pictures with her words.

~LyraAlluse is a young adult who is an avid writer of fantasy and science fiction novels. She also writes poetry, although her main focus is to be a published novelist. She has been published in many local publications and is currently getting an English Major. Most of her inspiration comes from watching live action Asian dramas, listening to heavy metal, reading manga, and watching anime. She enjoys critiquing other people's work and getting feedback from other writers so she can acquire the skills necessary to become a better writer. She also enjoys reading and writing fan fiction.

~MacabreMagpie has been writing since he was able to put pen to page. He wishes to be a professional writer in the vein of the great dark fantasists such as Neil Gaiman, Ramsey Campbell, and Tanith Lee. He has written a lot of very personal poetry and and analyzed more than a few of his dreams. Thoughts on magick, emotion, mystery, darkness, the macabre, the surreal, the esoteric and the unknown occupy much of his waking and dreaming lives. Theatre, performance art, cinema, photography & installation occupy his time otherwise but he is certainly not adverse to mischief.

~marvintheparanoid is a long-standing deviantART member (since 2004, believe it or not), and has been writing poetry for practically all that time. A student at Oxford, his main writing focus is as a novelist, presently seeking publication, but experiments with new methods and ideas in poetry, and is always looking to write an original poem that expresses reality and emotion as he sees it. Despite these details, he believes he is best summed up by Jubilee, Synaxarium, and Symphony: 2nd Stasis.

~Mavracula is 18-years-old and gave up writing poetry after only a year. That lasted for two years until he started up again in November 2008. He looks forward to being criticized and improving. Although he began writing rhyming verses and experimented on rhyming techniques, recently he switched to open verse. Becoming a writer has nothing to do with his aspirations. Poetry is a form of expression and a means to improve his control of the English language. He hopes you like his work!

~meathear8 is a teenager who has been writing poetry since she was eleven. She likes to write free verse, but she also likes to experiment with form. She's always wanted to be an author or a poet when she grows up. She started off writing angsty poems but now has experimented in different directions and hopes to add more facets to her writing as she grows and is exposed to more kinds of poetry and people.

*meljoy68 is a 40-something mom of 3 kids. She has been writing poetry since the 8th grade. Her favorite style of poetry is metered, rhyming works, such as sonnets, villanelles, etc. She also writes silly little short stories and has attempted the 50k word NaNoWriMo the last 2 years. She's an avid reader and loves word puzzles.

~middleearthhare is a young writer who has newly ventured out on her own. She writes poetry, prose, plays, and musicals, often pieces with a slightly morbid overtone. She has a passion for the dark and the phantasmagorical, and her favorite author will forver be the god, JRR Tolkien. Disenchanted with college life and the lack of inspiration within it, ~middleearthhare recently joined the US Navy in search of the spark she needs to complete her magnum opus. Her muses are her little sisters, her dog, Maia, and her beloved Christopher.

~moonangellove, also known as Roxanne, is a young Romanian writer born under the sign of Taurus on the 16th of May 1989, the year of freedom in Eastern Europe. She writes poetry, prose and articles. Drama is not her strongest point. "Let your imagination run wild" is her favourite quote. Her writing is inspired by her own or her dear ones' feelings and experiences. For the time being, writing is not a source of money, but a way of relaxing and reaching out to other people's hearts. Roxanne writes for everyone who feels the way she does or just needs some kind of moral support. Other hobbies are composing songs and singing, playing chess, reading books, drawing, cooking, photography and helping people. She will become a Psychologist in the near future. Roxanne is a very sociable person. The things she hates the most are highs, spiders, stupidity and lies. She is mostly proud of her following poems and prose: Dark Romance, A spring love story - part4 and His Death.

~MyMystique717 is an urban fantasy fanatic and self-proclaimed master of procrastination who once believed poetry to be the source of all evil in the world (well, sort of). Her opinion only changed after she found a battered copy of The Faber Book of Nonsense Verse in a second-hand book tent. She is not ashamed to admit that after years of bashing, dissing and denial, she actually enjoys the works of those like e. e. cummings, W. H. Auden and Edgar Allan Poe and finds some poetry to be rather inspiring. A passionate writer and story-teller since childhood, ~MyMystique717 now serves as an editor to both her high school's newspaper and literary magazine, being one of the loudest, bossiest, most critical, yet devoted members found at the weekly meetings. Everything she is not too paranoid about sharing can be found in in her gallery, including Porcelain Doll, ConfessionsofaRatherBoredMind, and Imagine.

~Natasek hails from Slovenia, but she adopted the English language as her first. She has been writing poems since a young age and that remains her passion till this day. Her style has changed throughout the years, and she developed her own way of writing without form or rhyme. Writing poems is not something she does daily or as a routine; words usually come from time to time from different sides, sometimes all at once as a poem or in just a few verses. On the palette of poetry she uses the colours of human emotions to paint a poem which captivates the mind and soul. Almost all of her poems are found under human nature: Man in grey room , Wingless Child and Lean Tree. Poetry-wise, her goal is to have a collection of her poems published.

~oneofthose-rachels is a teenage girl who's been writing since she was eight. She writes out the thoughts that are floating around in her head, which mostly include ideas that pounce on her whenever she's doing homework. She loves math and poetry, just because. And, her name is incredibly unique and no one else has it [as you can tell XD]. Some of her work includes drinking the sky, chem.mystery, and fucking and fairy floss lies.

~PaperDart is a girl in her late teens who writes almost compulsively. Having discovered some years ago that words provide an outlet for the ideas battering at her head, she is resolved to become as proficient a writer as she can. ~PaperDart considers herself to be acutely aware of the beauty implicit in any arrangement of words. As such, she is willing to experiment with any form of writing and enjoys giving constructive critique. The best poem in her gallery at the time of writing is probably Innocence, which placed first in its category at the Johannesburg Literary Festival '08.

~Pat9110 is a junior in high school who just started writing poetry in November 2008. He enjoys writing about nature, human or otherwise and often listens to music for inspiration. ~Pat9110 doesn't like the emotional cutting-myself-for-love style of poetry and will ignore it. For ~Pat9110, poetry is just a hobby, not for any kind of career, as he wants to major in history.

~pimpometer is a young college student studying Graphic Design. He has had a great interest in reading since he was four years of age and developed a love of writing at the age of eight. He also has an interest in drawing and making something out of nothing. He enjoys alternative music most but will listen to anything from classical to electro music. He has a critical eye for writing and has been known to be a genuine grammar-Nazi. He enjoys reading poetry and giving advice on ways to improve pieces of writing. His own writing style varies greatly from ironic, to emotional, and even to sexual. A few examples of his work are

~PlotParadox is a young adult who has found interest, above all, in writing. Poetry had, at one point, been his main focus until he wrote his first short story in late high school. Ever since then, his writing has gone through many transformations - his poetry usually being sociopolitical and/or philosophical, and his fiction focuses upon philosophy and satire. As more so a reader at PoetryPlease than a writer, he hopes to find inspiration in the poems written by other deviants. An example of his poetry is The Bountiful Nothing, while some short writings are A Cute Trauma and Fallen Angel.

~poetoffire simply is. She writes mostly open poetry using extended metaphors and line repetition. Some ask her why, and she responds that if she didn't write she'd go insane. ~poetoffire inhabits the void of "teenager," where adults tend to think she's out of touch and she tends to think adults are out of touch. ~qpidity101, an admitted caffeine addict and insomniac, has been writing since he was three-years-old, albeit he only started writing seriously when he was 16 or 17. Between nursing, a profitable career choice, and writing, his life long dream, he chose the latter. He now pursues a career in creative writing, in literature and in the English language. ~Rachelkiss123 is a thirteen-years-young writer (mainly poetry) who wished to become either a journalist or a marine photographer. She has been writing since the age of seven and is an avid reader of novels and screenplays. What she mainly enjoys is writing descriptive poetry of the photographs she takes. Some better selections of her writing are Dream Leafs, I Am, and Ending of Dreams.

=RedEarthofTerra is a poet who mainly focusses on perfecting openly structured poetry involving raw emotions like anger, desire, fear, hatred, and love. She also writes about human nature and Mother Earth, and enjoys prose writing and songwriting (especially humorous songs). She first joined dA in 2005 as a fan fiction artist, and later expanded her works to poetry based on inspiration from friends and other poets, such as Jewel and Pablo Neruda. She plans to continue improving her poetry, explore other styles of writing, and participate more in community events.

~reveurpassionne is a teenager who has been writing poetry since his first relationship (at the age of 13) though had not considered to extend his poetry or use it for more than leisure until he won his school's yearly writing competition in the poetry section (2nd June 2008). Since then, he's been seeking to extend his poetry by both critiquing it and finding a wider audience, to which he was suggested to join deviantART to find a public audience as an amateur (which he did during October 2008). In the future, ~reveurpassionne is seeking to continue to extend in his poetry to a level where he can be assessed on it in 2010, when he will be in year 12. Some of his personal favourites of his own work include Graveyard Dreams, Baby Steps, and Tears Again.

~RickDanger was brought to dA by LadyEntropy in 2003. Although his early deviations were merely write-ups based on tabletop roleplaying, his desire to experiment led him to try his hand at poetry. He got involved with the *Writers-Club, =PoetryPlease and the #Writers-Workshop. To learn the craft, he has tried to be versatile and challenge his creativity, entering many different projects, workshops and contests. Rick has created his own poetry podcast called "Dangers of Poetry" and, a year later, self-published his first book with the same name. In the future, he hopes to make at least half-a-living as a creative writer. His latest poem is Carnival of Flesh.

=rlkirkland is a middle aged essay and poetry writer who began writing in the late 1960's in the Armed Forces Writers League and placed honorable mention entries in both poetry and short story competitions as well has having a "Humor in Uniform" article published in Reader's Digest. His passion for writing was lost for a long season while struggling with drug and alcohol abuse. His passion for writing was rekindled while in recovery. He now enjoys writing about nature and the human condition.

~RoxasWannabe is a metaphor-loving maybe-one-day-poet who is still approaching adulthood. He doesn't take his own poetry seriously, but loves to post it anyway because it seems to make other people happy. He's a big psychology buff (though he won't actually admit that to his psychology teacher) and he absolutely loves water. He's been writing for as long as he can remember, but he doesn't like to give his poetry a skeleton to shape itself with. He also tends not to rhyme, but that doesn't bother most of his readers: "Good poetry shouldn't rhyme, anyway." Out of all of his poems, his favorites are Normal, 1:00 AM and Matryoshka.

~RSmiley is a high school student/teenager who has been writing poems and song lyrics since she was fourteen-years-old. She first started writing when one of her friends decided to try it out, and Riley really enjoyed writing. Some of her more recent poems are It's My Life Let Me Live, Far Apart, and Worn Out Christmas Songs. She is still learning to become an amazing poet. Because she started so late in life, she has to struggle to keep up with the abilities of other poets. Riley also enjoys creating emoticons and graphic designs.

~Sapient-Butterfly is a 20-something year old full-time mother of one living in England. She has been writing from a tender young age and has never stopped enjoying the magic of creating something wonderfully fantastical through words. Poetry first began to particularly interest her as a teen and she has continued to write her own since then, changing and improving her styles and tastes along the way. At this time she has no specific plans and ambitions other than to never stop writing and to be always looking for improvement in her work. ~schierzo-galliard, who is Marc Richmond Camero in real life, is a young man living in a quiet town in the Philippines. He started to write stories when he was eleven years old but later felt that poetry was his calling. Since then, he started submitting his works in school papers and posting them in online communities and in his blog. Poetry became his outlet of personal emotions and his own way to a woman's heart. Currently, he is still an active poet (despite his busy life as a BS Computer Science student) and is hoping to do some prose and publish his own book in the future.

~Sekeko is a 15-year-old girl who enjoys all forms of writing, though she prefers poetry and creative stories. She has written many pieces of poetry, mainly focussing on human emotion. ~tashagladwell has been writing for many years, and found dA on a hunt for an online community where she could share her poetry and read the poetry of others. She tends to use an open structure in her poetry, but does like to experiment with other forms and styles. ~Slipping-Star is a teenager who has been told that she has the mind of a 30-year-old. She started writing at an early age, around fourth grade, and was highly praised for her work. But she found soon after that she didn’t like people to know that she wrote it, so a pen name came into play. She writes poems based on how she sees the world, which is usually very ironic from the normal mind. She also draws, thought she’s still got a long way to go. ~TheUlvanger is a thirteen-year-old girl from Texas who has overachieved in her writing class at school. She has written much poetry and short stories on her laptop that have never been seen and writes for fun. As for her writing goals, she would like to complete a short book which she has already started. Her previous literature deviations include Peculiar Folk and Tell Me.

~tobimashou is just a kid with too many thoughts in his head, so he gets 'em out however he can. Sometimes he writes really horrible poetry, and sometimes he writes some good things (he is particularly fond of Wet Grass Summer and Haiku 10 Autumn). He hopes you like him too.

~TocTicTocTic is a twenty-something artist/poet aspiring to be and is majoring in Arts. Once lost in between life and college, the inspiration of Marcel DuChamp's work has reawakened an old dream in a hobby nearly forgotten. He has been a playwright for four years and counting, and has had the pleasure of producing two of his plays in the NoHo-Burbank theatre districts of Los Angeles, plus one live read through at Pasadena City College. He hopes to publish his works of both art and poetry someday and get strong critiques to help him improve and help reestablish an appreciation for the arts. ~Vampiress22, a young girl and a young teenager, has been writing since she was able to write. Prose and poetry both fascinate her dearly with the things she has read and seen. However, poetry stands alone in her heart with a pounding beat that allows her to write continuoulsly about magical things that could never happen, to everyday things that do happen, and finally dark and dreary things that might or might not happen. =VampiricKitsuneKit is an 18-year old, who, as her name suggest, loves foxes the best. She loves writing even though she tends to procrastinate more than she should. She originally joined dA to admire her boyfriend's writings, until the school year of 2007/2008 she decided to become active and submit stuff. Her first pieces submitted were in digital art, but then she decided to switch over to literature, where she felt she had more passion. She has been writing stories since her ninth grade year of high school. Now a Sophomore at a local college, she wants improve her writing and take it more seriously. ~VampireVengeance is a teenager who's been writing poetry and songs since the age of fifteen but has been in love with writing since her birth. Her work sets in the world of the horror/macabre and occasionally romance, nature, spiritual revealing her inner-most emotions, dreams, and nightmares. She hopes to experiment with other forms of poetry and write prose. Currently studying English at university, she plans to become a journalist, as well as a published novelist and poet. =VertigoArt is in his late twenties/early thirties. He has been writing seriously since age nine and has never stopped. He picked up poetry when he was thirteen, studying Shakespeare's sonnets first and moving on to e.e. cumming, Robert Frost, and Lord Byron. Free form poetry seemed to flow easily from his fingers until he discovered what iambic pentameter meant. That started him on a discovery of all forms that were currently considered valid. Today he has attempted to create his own form and continues to write in free verse. Always challenging himself to think outside of the box, his portfolio has more variety than a Ben and Jerry's. A few samples of his work include a macabre piece called You Won't Mind, a look into loneliness entitled nothing and no one, and a sample of the form he created entitled a look inside.

~WhiteDivinity is a young male adult poet/writer that mostly creates expressive poetry through his experience of life. As a teenager, he's been experimenting with poetry as a way to relieve stress and mainly writes human nature/philosophical poetry now. He's not an avid poetry reader, but he reads some occasionally. A member of DeviantART since May 2007, he keeps posting poetry/stories frequently. Wanting to promote poetry, he posted several news articles containing deviations of many artists, but it wasn't enough for him. He's part of the chat room staff of PoetryPlease to help poets with any constructive criticism needed. ~Wonderr is a thirteen-year-old writer from British Columbia, Canada. He has been writing since he was little and discovered deviantART when he was nine. He just recently signed up. He has been writing prose since the fourth grade when he was taught about poetry. His goals for the near future includes writing longer pieces of poetry and to put more emotion into them.

=x-SilentScreams-x has been writing since she was thirteen and, at the suggestion of TwistedLittleStar, first joined dA in 2004 as Scarlet-Lyrist. She started out as an angsty poet and lyrist. When she started working on the 100 Themes Challenge in 2006, her writing began to focus more on fictional characters and dark situations through the use of free verse poetry and prose. Over time she has tried to become more active in the dA community through critique and club participation. In the future, =x-SilentScreams-x intends to continue to work on her form and use of imagination. She wants to add new twists and turns into her ideas so that new situations can be brought to light and push the imaginations of others to their limits.

=vix0r is twenty-something with a BA in English. He hopes to someday work in the publishing world, ideally editing novels and the like. He also has oh-so-secret aspirations to become a novelist, and tells everyone his fabulous ideas at every possible opportunity. He has a penchant for philosophy and sex, sometimes at the same time.
